Liability & Damages
Under no circumstances shall the Fontes Auto Repair team be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to:
Loss of use of your vehicle.
Loss of personal property left inside the vehicle.
Incidental costs arising from the inability to operate the vehicle.
Even if an authorized representative of Fontes Auto Repair has been advised of the possibility of such damages, our liability remains limited to the scope of the specific repair performed.
Equipment & Corrections
If your use of our services or reliance on information from our site results in the need for additional servicing or correction of vehicle components not covered under our specific repair warranty, you assume any associated costs. Fontes Auto Repair is not responsible for any specific outcomes or mechanical failures that occur during the standard course of using your vehicle after it leaves our facility.
Policy Changes
We reserve the right to:
Adjust pricing based on market rates for parts and labor without prior notice.
Revise our service policies at any moment to reflect current West LA business regulations or shop standards.
License
By leaving your vehicle with Fontes Auto Repair, you grant our technicians a temporary license and authorization to:
Operate the vehicle: This includes driving the vehicle on public streets for the purposes of testing, diagnosis, and transport to third-party specialists if required.
Perform Repairs: Execute the specific labor and install the parts listed on the approved estimate.
Digital Content: Any repair photos, diagnostic reports, or digital inspections provided to you are licensed for your personal use only and remain the intellectual property of Fontes Auto Repair.
Usage Restrictions
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the repairs and parts installed by us, subject to the following:
Standard Operation: Repairs are intended for standard street use. Using the vehicle for racing, off-roading (unless specified), or commercial "ride-share" heavy-duty use may void your service license/warranty.
Tampering: Any unauthorized modification, "do-it-yourself" adjustments, or third-party repairs made to the specific components serviced by Fontes Auto Repair will immediately terminate the warranty and liability coverage associated with that service.
Environmental & Shop Compliance
Your "license" to receive service at our West LA facility is contingent upon compliance with shop safety protocols. We reserve the right to refuse service or revoke shop access to anyone who compromises the safety of our technicians or the integrity of our workspace.
